About Evil Lair Command
Evil Lair Command is a simple Missile Command style game in which you must defend your Evil Lair from invading government agent boats by shooting them with your mouse.
It was written for the 17th Ludum Dare in April of 2010. The theme for the 48 hour event was islands. The evil mastermind’s island lair, typified by super villain movies and Jonathan Coulton songs, quickly came to mind. In order to match development skill and available tools, simple game ideas were entertained and a simple missile-command style gameplay was settled upon.
Evil Lair Command was written using HTML5’s Canvas and JavaScript, something that was relatively new for the time.
